Trisha Sanor Widowfield is a graduate of Kent State University in Kent, Ohio (B.A. Psychology / Sociology 1999, cum laude) and University of Miami School of Law (J.D. 2007, cum laude).

Prior to attending law school, Ms. Widowfield gained valuable experience working as a liability claims specialist for Gallagher Bassett Services, Inc. and USAA. Her claims experience included handling complex litigation matters for which she was responsible for directing defense counsels’ litigation plans and protecting the client’s financial interests and exposure, while also actively engaging in negotiations with opposing counsel.

Throughout law school at the University of Miami, Ms. Widowfield served on the International and Comparative Law Review and worked for Haliczer, Pettis, & Schwamm as a law clerk for two years.

Her professional activities include membership of the Broward County Bar Association and the Broward County Young Lawyers’ Section
